- Advising on corporate legal concerns, large-scale transactions, M&As, the NPL sector, and due diligence reports
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with our diverse set of partners and business units.
- Conduct legal research and written analysis for our business units, working with them to provide solutions that meet corporate, civil, and restructuring law requirements.
- End-to-end legal overview and transaction planning for high-level transactions,
- Drafting legal opinions, contractual agreements (bond and syndicated loans, facilities, term loans, MOUs, Standstill Agreements), and legal documents.
- Attend court hearings on various matters (high level, basic, and emergency cases);
- Advice, legal opinions, and support for stakeholders on a wide range of business legal concerns
- Reviewing and evaluating legal documentation, analysing legal issues, translating legal documents, and conducting negotiations
- Reviewing and coordinating outside law firm consultants.
- A bachelor's degree in law and a master's degree (LL.M.) or equivalent postgraduate certification in civil or corporate law.
- A thorough understanding of corporate, civil, restructuring, and insolvency law, as well as litigation. Proven 5 years of experience as a legal counsel in a business context (Banking/Loan Servicing Sector) or at a reputable law practice.
- Experience with major aspects of corporate law and experience in corporate transactions (M&A) will be regarded a significant asset.
- Ability to attend judicial proceedings before civil courts.
- Excellent writing and oral communication abilities in English.
- Demonstrates collaboration, corporate ethics, dedication, and honesty.
- Unwavering attention to detail.
