attica department stores is currently in search of an experienced and skilled Assistant Director of IT to join our IT Department at our central offices in Athens.About Attica: Attica is the leading fashion & beauty destination in Greece, a one-stop-shop for designer brands in Athens and Thessaloniki.With the flagship store housed in City Link, an historical building near Syntagma Square in the center of Athens, and two more stores in Maroussi (northern suburbs of Athens), as well as two in Thessaloniki (one at Tsimiski street in the center of the city and one within the Mediterranean Cosmos Shopping Center), attica offers complete sections of women's, men's and children's fashionwear, footwear, beauty and accessories, along with a wide range of excellent, personalized services.Role Purpose:The Assistant Director of IT will act as a key member of the IT Department, reporting directly to the Head of IT. The role is responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of all IT systems supporting all business functions in corporate offices, retail stores and warehouses. The position will ensure effective project management, system optimization, and team leadership, while driving cross-functional collaboration to support the company's business growth and omnichannel strategy.Key accountabilities:

Support the Head of IT in developing and implementing the company's IT strategy.
Oversee day-to-day operations of IT systems including ERP/SAP, Retail POS systems, WMS, CRM, e-commerce, and retail applications.
Manage service requests and incident resolution from stores, warehouses, and headquarters, ensuring prioritization and timely delivery.
Lead, coordinate, and monitor IT projects (store rollouts, logistics systems, customer service platforms, infrastructure upgrades).
Ensure business continuity, system security, and adherence to IT governance best practices.
Act as the key liaison between IT and business functions (Operations, Logistics, Customer Service, Finance, HR) to identify needs and deliver solutions.
Manage and develop the IT team (technical support, system administrators, developers, operators), fostering a high-performance culture.
Develop & monitor IT KPIs, project budgets, and vendor SLAs to ensure quality and cost efficiency.
Drive innovation by identifying and implementing new technologies to enhance customer experience and support retail excellence.

Skills/Experience Required:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree is a plus.
7+ years of professional IT experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role within retail or FMCG industry.
Experience in Management of logistics center and customer service would be considered a plus.
Strong experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP), WMS, POS, and omnichannel platforms.
Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, cloud applications, and cybersecurity.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
Proven leadership skills with experience in managing and developing teams.
Strong project management, organizational, and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
