Grecotel Hotels & Resorts, the leading hotel chain in Greece, is seeking a Reservations Manager to join its team for the season 2026. As a Reservations Manager, you are responsible for managing the reservations of the hotel. This role has a wide range of responsibilities, such as: ensuring that reservations are fulfilled in a timely manner while meeting all deadlines, managing the reservations department staff including hiring new employees as needed such as organizing and overseeing all reservations activities including making sales calls and soliciting new business. You will also ensure the accuracy of information in company databases related to client data, reservations, payments, and other records, communicating with clients to answer questions about their reservations or other travel arrangements with care by following the company’s SOPs. The Reservations Manager reports directly to the Rooms Division Manager. At Grecotel, we believe that our people are the cornerstone of our success.   • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the reservations department, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for all guest bookings
  • Manage a team of reservation agents, providing guidance, training, and support as needed
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve the efficiency and accuracy of the reservations process
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of the company's properties, amenities, and services in order to effectively assist guests with their bookings
  • Monitor reservation trends and data to identify opportunities for maximizing revenue and occupancy
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and marketing, to ensure seamless coordination of guest bookings and special requests
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
  • Strong understanding of reservation systems and hotel operations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Fluency in English, knowledge of additional languages will be considered as an asset
