- We are creating a contemporary Research and Development Center for biotechnology
- We are starting research for three finished pharmaceutical products with monoclonal antibodies
- We are establishing a Biotechnology Academy to train young scientists. Biotechnology is becoming part of our lives.
- Protein analysis with an emphasis of their biological properties, e.g. potency, cell-based assays, DNA content etc.
- Contribution to development projects by:
- Analytical methods development and qualification,
- Data interpretation and reports writing,
- Troubleshooting,
- Regulatory documentation editing,
- Support of Process development by providing the analytical data,
- Analytical methods transfer to QC,
- Reports and data review provided by ext services providers,
- Following and implementing EU and US regulations regarding all aspects related to the quality and analytical characterisation of biological medicinal products with an emphasis on biosimilars development,
- Setup and maintenance of the analytical infrastructure required for AD,
- Collaboration with Quality Assurance dept. to set up and supervise the quality system required to run Analytical Development and QC depts.
- Involvement as a trainer/ lecturer in the internal training program for biotech staff.
- Planning Experiments and collaborating with teammates to deliver the data in the required scope and quality.
- MSc/BSc in biology, biotechnology, chemistry or related field
- PhD in a field related to biotechnology, biochemistry, molecular biology will be considered an asset
- 1-3 years of professional experience in a pharmaceutical company in the field of biotech products analysis will be an advantage
- Experience in analytical techniques for protein analysis regarding their biological properties e.g. Elisa, Molecular biology techniques, cell based assays, SPR, Q-PCR etc.
- Operating sophisticated analytical equipment like (Q)PCRs, Plate readers, Capillary electrophoresis
- Software knowledge like excel, Data visualization and statistics like Graph Pad Prism, JASP, JMP or similar.
- DoE and multivariate experiments design knowledge will be an advantage
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Strong problem solving attitude, critical thinking
- Resilience & ability to work independently
