- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for IT systems, predominantly the Atlassian suite. You will be expected to upskill and start supporting infrastructure and services, including servers, networks and end user devices.
- Monitor and maintain the performance, availability, and security of IT end users systems and services, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues and vulnerabilities.
- Configure, deploy and manage IT systems and services to support business operations, ensure scalability, reliability and security and promote innovation and efficiency.
- Collaborate with other IT teams, departments, and stakeholders to implement IT projects, initiatives, and enhancements, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and objectives.
- Participate in the planning, design and implementation of IT solutions, including hardware, software and cloud-based services, to meet the evolving needs of the organisation.
- Document technical configurations, procedures and troubleshooting guidelines for IT systems and services, ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation for reference and training purposes which will be used by other teams.
- Assist with user training and support activities to help end users effectively utilise IT systems and tools, resolve technical issues, and optimise productivity and efficiency.
- Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices related to IT systems, infrastructure and services and apply knowledge to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to other IT team members, serving as a subject matter expert in specific areas of IT systems and services.
- Working knowledge of Atlassian suite administration. ie. Creating new Jira software workflows, automations. Automating service requests in Jira Service Management, SSO setup etc.
- Working experience with Jira Service Management.
- Proven communication skills, written and verbal.
- Ability to read & analyse business processes, procedures, training material.
- Analytical & problem solving abilities.
- Service oriented demeanour is a must.
- Driving change and handling difficult situations.
- Problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Working experience with IDP platforms like Okta, Azure.
- Working experience in end user computing troubleshooting
- Working experience with MDM platforms like Jamf Pro, Workspace One, Microsoft Endpoint Manager.
- Scripting skills in Bash or Python.
- Understanding of API’s.
