Responsibilities: Sourcing and evaluation: Be proactive in sourcing companies with strong growth potential, based on investment focus, qualitative and quantitate metrics, geographical focus, and management team merit Expand our network in the existing tech start-up ecosystem, so we identify great partners early on Lead deep dives, industry analysis, and market mapping of relevant sectors, in order to decide on the right opportunities Develop and maintain financial models to forecast investment outcomes and assess valuation metrics Execution: Research and investment memo preparation for presentation to the Investment Committee Support due diligence efforts and relevant documentation preparation Facilitate the execution of investment transactions, including negotiation of terms and coordination with legal counsel to finalize agreements Portfolio monitoring: Monitor the performance of existing portfolio investments, including regular financial reviews, leveraging opportunities or suggesting remediation actions when needed Provide portfolio updates, analyze, summarize, and present conclusions to the team Prepare and refine a variety of quantitative analysis, as well as assist various projects including risk management and asset allocation reviews Support existing portfolio companies to develop detailed Business Plans, as well as connecting them with potential customers, partners and investors Manage the portfolio including performance management, follow-on rounds, and exits as required Investment Associate Skills: Financial Modeling: Utilizing historical data, market trends, and financial principles, to create detailed models that simulate potential investment outcomes. These models are crucial for predicting future financial performance, guiding investment decisions and developing strategies Market Analysis: Delve into financial statements, market reports, and economic indicators to forecast market movements and identify investment opportunities. Provides actionable insights and recommendations, aligning investment strategies with market dynamics and client objectives Portfolio Management: Craft and adjust investment strategies to meet client goals and respond to market conditions. Continuously monitor and evaluate asset performance, employing a meticulous approach to risk assessment to optimize portfolio returns and achieve financial objectives with precision Risk Assessment: Analyzing market trends, economic indicators, and company performance, being able to evaluate the potential financial impact of investments.
