If you want to grow your career whilst finding the perfect balance between work and life, Vodafone offers the opportunities to help you belong and make a real impact.What you'll doThe Senior Financial Accountant is responsible for evaluating, controlling, consolidating and reporting the actual financial statements, results and disclosures in compliance with IFRS, Vodafone Group guidelines, local GAAP and tax legislation. Manages the annual audit process and liaises with external auditors.

Ensure accurate and timely preparation of consolidated financial statements to VF Group and local tax authorities (statutory) ensuring compliance with IFRS, and local accounting principles
Accountable for the Balance sheet reconciliations deliverable ensuring any open, aged items are actioned in a correct and timely manner
Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard the company's assets
Continuous engagement with the Shared service centre, FP&A, Tax, VF Group reporting, CFO, external auditors and other key senior stakeholders
Translate commercial business scenarios into accounting memos for signoff

Who you are

Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CPA)
Class A Accountant license from the Economic Chamber of Greece
6+ years' experience in IFRS accounting, reporting, consolidation
Proven experience as a Financial Accountant or similar role in a group or multi-entity structure, ideally within the Telecom sector
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
Experience with financial consolidation and ERP/reporting systems.
Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage with senior colleagues
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
