The position will be reported to the Technical Services Manager of the Technical department in Skouries.Main Responsibilities:· Detailed short-term layouts including the required infrastructure from mid-term plans· Development of weekly tactical plans, communicating these mine schedules and plans to all stakeholders, and ensuring they are executed.· Liaising with geology, mine operations, and other technical services groups to ensure the tactical plan targets can be achieved and the appropriate designs are created.· Updating and maintaining 3D CAD model of weekly plans, designs, and service requirements.· Developing and maintaining a database for the key services such as water management systems and electrical distribution systems.· Optimization of production through mine designs and production scheduling.· Reconciliation of plan compliance and stopes performances.· Provide operational and technical support through mine plan and schedule, design and implementation.· Identify new or alternate ideas and concepts that can be used to improve the business.· Filling-in med-term planning and other duties as required, and ad-hoc projects.Requirements:· Degree in Mining & Metallurgical Engineering or in Mineral Resources Engineering or in related field.· A post graduate degree would be considered as an asset.· At least 2 years of experience in mine planning, design &/or mining for an underground mine operation.· Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Greek and English languages.· Proficient computer knowledge of MS Office, Deswik and Autodesk Packages.· Excellent organizational and decision-making skills.· Problem solving skills and perform under pressure and deadlines.· Driving License.Our company offers a competitive remuneration package that includes an attractive combination of basic salary and benefits, as well as opportunities for development in a challenging work environment.Inclusion and DiversityHellas Gold is an equal opportunities employer.
