- Lead and manage the delivery of all development projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
- Act as the primary liaison between the development team and clients, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction.
- Develop and implement delivery processes and methodologies to improve efficiency and quality.
- Establish and maintain service level agreements (SLAs) with clients, and ensure adherence to agreed-upon timelines and milestones.
- Conduct regular meetings with clients to review project status, discuss upcoming deliverables, and address any concerns or issues.
- Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment, providing guidance and support to team members.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
- Prepare and present reports on project status, risks, and outcomes to senior management and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other departments to align development services with overall business goals.
- Stay abreast of the latest technology trends and best practices in software development and service delivery.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- At least 5 years of proven experience as a Service Delivery Manager, or similar role in a software development environment.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation skills and a proactive approach to addressing issues.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
- Certifications in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2) or IT Service Management (ITIL) are a plus.
- Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Technical background with experience in software development.
- Knowledge of quality assurance, performance metrics, and customer satisfaction.
