The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of development projects to our clients, managing our development team, and overseeing all aspects of the development lifecycle. This role demands a balance of technical knowledge, project management skills, and excellent client service.Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the delivery of all development projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the development team and clients, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement delivery processes and methodologies to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Establish and maintain service level agreements (SLAs) with clients, and ensure adherence to agreed-upon timelines and milestones.
  • Conduct regular meetings with clients to review project status, discuss upcoming deliverables, and address any concerns or issues.
  • Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment, providing guidance and support to team members.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
  • Prepare and present reports on project status, risks, and outcomes to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align development services with overall business goals.
  • Stay abreast of the latest technology trends and best practices in software development and service delivery.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of proven experience as a Service Delivery Manager, or similar role in a software development environment.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, negotiation skills and a proactive approach to addressing issues.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
  • Certifications in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2) or IT Service Management (ITIL) are a plus.
  • Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Technical background with experience in software development.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance, performance metrics, and customer satisfaction.
