Lavipharm, is seeking a Senior Accountant , referring to the Chief Accountant. The candidate will be responsible for the : Bookkeeping and tax obligations of group companies Preparation of financial statements and monthly financial reporting Performance of month-end and year-end close procedures Annual stock procedures and cost accounting Training and supervision of accounting assistants Development and enhancement of business processes and internal controls of the Finance Department Liaison with statutory and tax auditors Requirements: Bachelor of Science (BSc) Degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant 7– 10 years of work experience in a relevant position preferably within the pharmaceutical industry A’ class accounting licence Fluency in English language Computer literacy Strong accounting and tax knowledge Experience in monthly reporting and preparation of financial statements under IFRS Strong interpersonal and analytical skills If you are ready to embark into challenging endeavors, be exposed to continuous learning opportunities, you are interested in the above position and only if you have the required qualifications, please reply, enclosing your curriculum vitae.
