Job description· Job Title: Operations / Fleet Assistant· Reports to: Operations Manager/HSQE Manager· Location: Kifisia - GR· Job Summary: Full responsibility and support on vessel operationsAbout the companyWe are a growth-oriented global shipping company engaged in the seaborne transportation of a wide range of commodities along worldwide shipping routes through our ownership of dry bulk, LPG’s, tanker, and container vessels. Our primary goal is to grow our fleet through acquisitions of new and modern vessels.RequirementsMain responsibilities· Monitoring the accuracy and the quality of vessels reports as per company’s standards· Preparing in cooperation with the Operator the terminal’s database, taking into consideration Master’s reports and Shipping Industry Reports· Processing DA’s and assisting in appointment agencies· Assisting Operations Manager with processing voyage instructions and monitoring voyage proceeds as per Charter Party requirements for vessels· Keeping electronic records of fleet speed and consumption performance and providing the Operation Manager with appropriate feedback· Preparing and maintaining (amendment, revision, development) the applicable sections of the Health, Safety, Quality, Environmental and Energy Management System documentation, as assigned by DPA· Collecting data related to Department KPI’s· Monitoring and recording the objectives and targets/KPI of the HSQE System of the company as well as the quarterly MRMs following up the actions decidedDesired skills & experience· University degree in Shipping· Minimum 2 years proven experience in operations department/HSQE department· Computer literate (Microsoft Office and Operations ERP systems) Knowledge of Benefit ERP it’s a must· Excellent command of English
