- Supervise monthly accounting activities and participate in the month-end closing process, including reconciliations and balance sheet analysis.
- Coordinate with local accountants and tax advisors in each country to ensure local legal compliance and develop strong professional relationships across diverse cultures.
- Align subsidiaries with the financial procedures of the parent company and prepare country-specific financial processes.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and ensure consistency with the parent company’s standards.
- Prepare monthly cash flow forecasts per country.
- Develop 5-year business plans, annual budgets, and scenario analyses; monitor budget variances and conduct financial analysis.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with transfer pricing rules and intercompany transactions.
- Provide support during internal and external audits.
- Frequent Travels to international subsidiaries.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
- 3–5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a multinational environment or the aviation services sector.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and experience with ERP systems.
- Fluency in Greek and English (both written and spoken); knowledge of an additional language (e.g., Serbian, Bulgarian, Hindi) is a plus.
- Ability to collaborate remotely with teams across multiple time zones.
- Strong analytical thinking, professionalism, and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Background in a multinational or internationally active Greek company, preferably in sectors such as aviation, logistics, transport, shipping, or trading.
- Experience managing foreign subsidiaries and/or working with consolidated financial reporting.
- Familiarity with transfer pricing and intercompany transactions.
- Degree in a finance-related field (e.g., Accounting, Finance, Business Administration).
- Desirable: Postgraduate degree (MBA or International Business) and/or certifications such as ACCA, CIMA, or CMA.
- Ongoing training in international accounting and tax regulations.
- Excellent command of English (written and verbal).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Cross-cultural collaboration and remote project management capabilities.
- Highly organized, analytical, and adept at coordinating multiple stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Excel and ease with ERP systems.
