Job DescriptionBarilla Hellas AE wants to recruit a Shift Leader within Meal Solutions Plant based in Thiva. The individual will report to the Production Manager.The individual is responsible to lead a team of approx. 15 - 17 production & packaging operators in the day to day running of the department and support the Production Manager in implementing all company's processes.Key Accountabilities

Effective management and coordination of the daily production schedule and shift timetable
Monitor problems, propose effective corrective actions to improve line performance and promote a continuous improvement culture in the team and across the department
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, GMP, Quality and Environmental policies and procedures
Assure accuracy of key performance information entered into company's system (ERP) and database
Develop and lead team to high performance and promote effective intra shift communication with other supervisors and among departments
Promote Diversity & Inclusion culture within team and organization
Participate and/or lead Continuous Improvement activities in the plant aiming to increase operations' performance in terms of quality, environmental sustainability, output net increase, safety results, cost reduction (MAPE performance etc)
Lead cross-functional teams in value stream mapping Kaizen, A3, 5S, SMED, problem solving
Develop and train employees on CI methodology and tools

What makes you a good fit..

University Degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering), Food Science, Chemistry, or relevant field
Master's degree is highly appreciated
Up to 2-3 years of relevant working experience
Leadership, Project management and Results orientation
Strong communication & organizational skills, Attention to detail
Fluency in Greek and English
IT literacy (MS Office, Outlook)
