We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Site Engineer to join the construction of the Riviera Tower in Ellinikon, in Athens. This role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent coordination skills, and the ability to resolve construction-related issues in a dynamic, high-profile environment.
Job Description
- Monitor the progress of construction works, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and drawings.
- Coordinate and mediate activities between the supervision team (supervisor) and the contractor to resolve technical and organizational issues.
- Supervise finishing works
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of work,
- Conduct daily inspections and resolve on-site technical issues.
- Ensure work complies with project specifications, local codes, and safety standards.
- Liaise with the QA/QC team to ensure quality benchmarks are achieved.
- Participate in coordination meetings with other trades (MEP, structural, etc.).
- Assist in preparing progress reports, material requisitions, and site logs.
- Report and escalate issues to the Construction/Project Manager when needed.
- Monitor workforce productivity and enforce HSE compliance on site.
- Assist in managing snag lists and preparing the area for handover.
- Respect of Health and Safety
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering for building works.
- 5+ years of experience in Construction
- Strong knowledge of finishing materials, techniques, and installation procedures.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, or similar tools (preferred).
- Familiarity with project drawings, method statements, and quality procedures. Preparation of tender packages for submission to the Engineer, RFIs, MARs, samples' collection and presentation and Tender Analysis. Quantity take-offs, BOQs, Schedules, Logs and Reports
- Ability to read technical drawings and coordinate across disciplines.
- Excellent command of English.
