As an SME Relationship Manager you will support the Corporate and Small Medium Enterprises restructuring and remedial teams on all asset backed non-performing loans in order to maximize recovery across different industries and asset classes. A day in the life of an SME Relationship Manager will include: Overview a number of assigned cases/borrowers as part of an asset backed NPL portfolio; Engaging in workout discussions and negotiations with borrowers, legal advisors and other related parties towards resolution of the exposure; Independently determining effective workout strategies (consensual/ non-consensual) while ensuring prompt implementation of approved action plan; Monitoring the relationship and the workout strategy (ie restructuring) and work closely with other internal teams (IT, legal, loan administration), and Preparing proposals for debt restructuring, settlement proposals and various action plans for management’s approval. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in economics, mathematics, or business administration. Background in SME/Corporate Banking (including hands-on management of distressed assets and restructuring divisions) Understanding of the new legal framework and tools (foreclosure, special administration) Strong financial analysis skills and a proven track record of completing complicated and tough transactions. Ability to prepare reports and make presentations; Negotiation and communication abilities, and the capacity to connect effectively with many stakeholders; Comfortable working in high-pressure circumstances and on an agile delivery plan, with great attention to detail; Fluency in English and strong verbal and written communication abilities.
