The Sales Manager – US Market plays a crucial role in expanding the presence and revenue of our luxury hospitality brand within the United States. Central to this position is the development and execution of strategic sales initiatives aimed at increasing market share and revenue streams from the US leisure travel sector. This role demands a high level of proficiency in managing customer relationships and leveraging market insights to drive sales growth. As a Sales Manager – US Market, they are expected to deliver measurable results and contribute significantly to our business objectives. Their responsibilities include: · Developing and executing detailed sales and marketing strategies tailored to key US clients and market segments. · Negotiating and securing favorable terms with major leisure travel agencies, tour operators, and other key partners across the US. · Crafting and maintaining a communication strategy that ensures all stakeholders are regularly updated with the latest offerings and developments. This position requires a results-oriented professional who is adept at building strong partnerships, achieving sales targets, and enhancing the overall brand image and market penetration in the US. Some of the Responsibilities you will be entrusted with, are: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to increase market share and revenue within the US leisure travel market, monitoring and dynamically adjusting strategies based on emerging trends and opportunities. Cultivate and strengthen relationships with key US-based leisure travel agencies, tour operators, consortia, and other relevant partners, focusing on the unique demands and opportunities of the US market. Manage the US sales territory with precision, maintaining detailed records of sales activities and ensuring timely reporting in alignment with company standards. Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless guest experience from booking through departure, specifically tailored to the US clientele. Achieve and exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) specific to the US market, with a focus on metrics that drive regional sales performance. Requirements: Abilities/Key Competencies/Skills Comprehensive sales knowledge of hospitality sector in local market and the designated market segments (USA/Canada) Strong negotiation and closing skills. Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team to achieve goals and targets. Flexibility to adjust to the changing needs of the business, taking on new ideas, initiatives and responsibilities as they present themselves. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work with people at all levels and from all backgrounds and parts of the world. Works with a high level of accountability, results orientated and dependable. Experience / Certificates/ Education: College/University Degree or equivalent experience, ideally within a hospitality, marketing or commercial discipline. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a management / senior role in leisure sales within the luxury hospitality industry (preferably multi property / international hotel chain headquarters). Good experience and knowledge of the FIT, leisure groups especially in USA/Canada. Driving license preferred. Fluency in written and spoken English.
