The position will be reported to the Logistic and Transport Superintendent of the Supply Chain department in Skouries.Main Responsibilities:· Ensure compliance with company transport safety procedures and national traffic regulations.· Organize and conduct toolbox talks, route briefings, and training sessions on updated transport policies.· Report any incidents, unsafe behavior, or deviations from planned transport activities.· Coordinate transportation for internal transfers and external deliveries, including bulk materials, palletized goods, by-products, tailings, and equipment.· Assign transport work orders and instructions to contractors based on operational priorities.· Liaise with warehouse, production, and planning teams to ensure alignment in loading and unloading activities.· Monitor contractor performance, vehicle readiness, and driver compliance with safety standards.· Maintain a regular presence in loading areas to supervise haulage operations and adherence to transport plans.· Ensure proper documentation, route planning, and access permissions to restricted areas or ports.· Issue and verify transport documents such as delivery notes, shipment forms, and contractor certifications.· Track vehicle movements and maintain accurate records in ERP systems and logistics tracking tools.· Coordinate weighbridge data and adjustments in collaboration with on-site personnel and contractors.· Work closely with Buyers and the Procurement team to arrange transportation according to PO terms, Incoterms, and supplier delivery requirements.· Liaise with teams at Skouries, Olympias, and the Thessaloniki port as needed.· Coordinate with Sales, Procurement, and Warehousing departments to ensure timely material flow.· Support the monthly contractor certification process and participate in performance reviews.Requirements:· Degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Technical field.· Minimum 3 years in transport, logistics, or dispatch coordination roles.· Experience in mining, industrial, or infrastructure projects preferred.· Working knowledge of logistics ERP systems (preferably SAP).· Good knowledge of English.· Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.· Familiarity with heavy vehicle operations, traffic safety, and port logistics.· Certifications in transport management or ADR compliance are a plus.· Strong organizational and communication skills.· Conflict resolution and field coordination capabilities.· Sense of urgency and operational awareness.Our company offers a competitive remuneration package that includes an attractive combination of basic salary and benefits, as well as opportunities for development in a challenging work environment.Inclusion and DiversityHellas Gold is an equal opportunities employer.
