ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of its client, a leading global provider of secure identification and identity solutions, with a focus on innovation and cutting-edge technology, is looking for a result – driven Senior Sales Manager, who will play a key role in driving revenue growth and expanding the market presence.Perimeter: South Europe: Portugal, Spain, Malta, Italy, Greece, Cyprus.The role reports to Sales Director.Key responsibilities:The selected candidate will create and implement effective sales strategies and foster strong relationships with clients to achieve and exceed sales targets.More specifically he/she will:
  • Develop a successful sales strategy in the public sector with long-term procurement cycles and in a well-established competitive market.
  • Implement the regional sales strategy to support the company's growth strategy and its goals.
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities, customer needs and expectations within the government environment.
  • Carry out the necessary sales activities to promote and sell secure identity documents
  • Lead sales and contract negotiations in coordination with multi-disciplinary internal resources
  • Establish business partnerships to support a specific sales strategy and maintain a multidisciplinary network
  • Build trusting customer relationships as well as relationships with decision-makers in the government environment
  • Be responsible for managing the customer account once the contract has been concluded
  • Be responsible for customer relationships, incoming orders and sales forecasts
  • Independent preparation of offers for simple projects or coordination of the internal service for more complex projects (product management, offer management, order processing)
  • Represent of the company (at trade fairs, lectures, etc.).
Requirements
  • At least 10 years of relevant sales professional experience in an international environment
  • Mandatory sales experience within the public sector
  • Experience within the security industry will be considered a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical or Mechanical)
  • MBA will be considered a plus
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language, both written and verbal
  • Independent and goal-oriented thinking and actions,
  • Very good communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel across south east Europe
