- Lead, coach, and motivate thesales team to achieve and exceed revenue targets
- Develop and implement salesstrategies to grow MICE and group business; engage with potential clientsthrough personal outreach, phone calls, emails to build and nurturerelationships
- Represent the group at major tradeshows, networking events, and sales missions, conduct sales representation inthe market, perform day-to-day sales, promote the property and secure newbusiness opportunities
- Negotiate prices and terms withclients, prepare sales contracts and memos, and secure bookings
- Formulate strategic plans togrow business thorough Wholesalers and Travel Advisors
- Work closely with the sales andmarketing management to develop strategies that maximize RevPAR and increasemarket share
- Collaborate with the marketingdepartment to create effective sales and marketing support materials
- Conduct regular reviews of travelagencies websites and content related to the hotels
- Stay fully informed about newproducts, competitor activities, and market trends; strengthen networking andrelationships with key industry players
- Conduct site inspections of theproperty with new or existing partners, show rooms, banquet facilities, and otherhotel facilities for business meetings, MICE, Wedding's and special events
- Ensure satisfaction bycommunicating with the client throughout the event regarding any changes,substitutions or special requests; assisting banquet staff throughout the eventas needed; follow up with event host at the conclusion of the event
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience ina similar position in the luxury hospitality industry or in any other relevant salesdepartment
- BS/MS Degree in businessadministration or a related field; Excellent knowledge of Greek and Englishlanguage
- Availability to travel
- Strong business sense andindustry expertise, excellent communication skills
- Must be highly organized,efficient and detail-oriented, focused on accomplishing high quality results
- Dynamic role across leadinghotel properties in Thessaloniki and Halkidiki
