We stay humble along the way, with a “pay it forward” mentality, but with big and bold goals. goals.About The RoleThe Expansion Team Leader is a pivotal role in our company, leading a dynamic team dedicated to launching new destinations internationally. This position involves direct management of Expansion Associates (EAs), ensuring the team's success in meeting ambitious growth and operational goals. The Team Leader will be instrumental in guiding their team through the aspects of expansion operations, fostering effective stakeholder communication, and driving strategic initiatives to enhance the company's global presence.Responsibilities:
  • Team Management and Leadership:
  • Serve as the direct manager for assigned Expansion Associates.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with team members to provide guidance, support, and performance feedback.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment that aligns with the company's culture and values.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Interdepartmental Cooperation:
  • Facilitate communication and cooperation with other departments to streamline expansion operations.
  • Process Oversight and Improvement:
  • Oversee and continuously evaluate the handover process during expansion phases.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in launching new destinations.
  • Recruitment and Training:
  • Support the recruitment process for new team members, including interviewing and selection.
  • Coordinate and conduct training for new team members, ensuring a thorough understanding of their roles and responsibilities.
  • Target Management and KPI Oversight:
  • Responsible for achieving targets and KPIs related to launching new destinations and maintaining operational excellence in these areas.
  • Monitor team performance against set KPIs, providing regular feedback and strategies for improvement.
  • Destination Management:
  • Assign destinations effectively among team members, ensuring strategic and efficient launches.
  • Ensure all documentation for new destinations is created, maintained, and updated.
  • Reporting and Communication:
  • Regularly report to the Head of Expansion on the team's progress, challenges, and achievements concerning the expansion goals.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to the Head of Expansion for ongoing and future expansion strategies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, International Business, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably in operations or business expansion.
  • Proficiency in analyzing complex data and identifying market trends.
  • Competence in using data analysis tools to inform decision-making.
  • Competence in addressing and solving problems effectively.
  • Experience in setting, monitoring, and achieving targets and KPIs.
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback and strategies for performance improvement.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, for clear and effective interactions.
  • Proven ability to identify challenges, propose solutions, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Team player with a collaborative approach.
  • Digital native: fluent in web and digital technologies
  • Out-of-the-box thinking.
  • A friendly and upbeat personality.
