As a Health and Safety Officer, you will be part of our Health and Safety team in Athens and you'll play a crucial part in safeguarding a safe workplace, fostering a culture of attention to health and safety. In Qualco Environment, Health & Safety are top priorities for our people. We implement high standard practices, deploying ISO 14000 and ISO 45000 to ensure compliance with H&S and Environmental issues while we are investing heavily in our people's wellbeing.A Day in the Life of a Health and Safety Officer at Qualco will include:

Monitoring compliance with safety legislation and standards;
Conducting safety audits in all premises in Athens (3 buildings in Marousi, 1 building in the center of Athens);
Investigating incidents;
Keeping Health& Safety procedures and documents according to ISO45001;
Training employees on safety and environmental procedures;
Μοnitoring annual Budget.
Ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements

Requirements:

A Bachelor's Degree in environmental or chemical-mechanical engineering;
Post graduate studies in environmental management will be considered as a plus;
1-2 years of experience in Environment, Health& Safety in an office environment;
Advanced MS Office skills;
Excellent communication skills, ability to make presentations and outstanding verbal communication skills;
Professional English both spoken and written.
