- Industrial Process: (Revenue of $1.4B; headcount of ~3,400; operates in 30 countries) manufactures engineered fluid process equipment serving a diversified mix of customers in global industries such as chemical, energy, mining, and other industrial process markets and is a provider of plant optimization and efficiency solutions and aftermarket services and parts.
- Connect and Control Technologies: (Revenue of $0.8B; headcount of ~ 3,800; operates in 10 countries) manufactures harsh-environment connector solutions, critical energy absorption, flow control components, and composite materials for the aerospace and defense, general industrial, medical, and energy markets.
- Support the team's objectives across local, global, and cloud data centers.
- Administer Azure IaaS and PaaS environments, ensuring systems are configured, optimized, and secure.
- Implement changes, upgrades, or decommissioning of cloud infrastructure in alignment with lifecycle and governance standards.
- Provide ongoing technical support for cloud and hybrid environments to ensure availability, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with business and IT partners to design and deploy infrastructure solutions that meet evolving needs.
- Identify gaps or inefficiencies in current policies or procedures and recommend improvements.
- Monitor compliance with security standards and remediate any deficiencies.
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing activities.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues, resolve incidents and service requests, and document resolutions.
- Create and maintain operational documentation as needed.
- Support tools and platforms such as Microsoft SCCM, SCVMM, vCenter, and enterprise-grade storage systems (e.g., HPE 3PAR, Alletra, Dell Compellent, NetApp).
- Manage physical infrastructure including HPE and Dell blades, servers, and chassis.
- Contribute to the global backup process and remediation efforts.
- Maintain continuous availability of systems and contribute to ongoing improvement of infrastructure services.
- Automate routine tasks to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Participate in data protection planning and recommend improvements to backup and recovery solutions.
- Be an active team member, including participation in on-call rotation.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Enterprise Infrastructure Manager
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent experience (5+ years in infrastructure or cloud engineering roles).
- Proven experience administering Microsoft Azure environments, including IaaS, PaaS, and hybrid cloud solutions.
- Strong knowledge of Azure Active Directory, Entra IDand RBAC
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell,Azure CLI, Bicep or Terraform
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Security Center.
- Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions in Azure.
- Knowledge of networking concepts including VPN, ExpressRoute, NSGs, and firewalls.
- Experience with Microsoft Defender for Cloud and compliance frameworks.
- Familiarity with Azure-native security tools and experience working within compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, CMMC) preferred.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
