As a Junior IT Network Engineer you will provide support to design, deploy, and configure proof-of-concept and prototype infrastructure environments. Services provided will include troubleshooting, network designs, implementation, and other related tasks.A Day in the Life of a Junior IT Network Engineer at Qualco will include:

Installing, configuring, and maintaining network infrastructure to support a variety of projects,
Monitoring network infrastructure and performing relevant troubleshooting,
Collaborating with other team members to maintain network solutions in a cross-functional environment that includes interoperable systems, applications, and platforms,
Communicating with vendors and other IT personnel to resolve issues,
Engaging in networking deployment activities both locally and virtually,
Troubleshooting on-site or remotely.
Ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy.

Requirements

A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Telecoms, or equivalent field,
A minimum of one year of experience in routing and switching, with knowledge of Enterprise WAN and Data Center technologies,
Demonstrated technical knowledge of IP routing including TCP/IP and routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF),
Experience with network management and monitoring tools,
Certification in industry certifications (CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent Knowledge) will be considered as a plus,
Good verbal and written communication skills in Greek and English.
