- Prepare, carry through and evaluate a training program such as a course in a professional manner and according to KM values
- Organize lab/simulator/classroom and update equipment used in courses within his/her product area
- Contribute to continuous improvement based on course evaluation and feedback from course participants
- Utilise the LMS in accordance with LMS Guidelines
- Keep up to date on course material, rules, and regulations within his/her field of expertise
- Participate in appointed project teams
- Suggest new business ideas
- Technical support of KONGSBERG’s AutoChief and K-Chief products to our customers (internal/external) within the tools of D365 / CRM and other.
- Offer technical assistance to our global pool of Field Service Engineers
- Extensive troubleshooting on customer claims
- Perform remote support using our BOMGAR solution ‘
- Provide internal stakeholders (sales teams, sales support and admin teams) and external customers (end users of Kongsberg’s systems) first class technical support and advisory, on his/her area of expertise.
- Graduated from college / university in mechanical engineering/ engineering (technological institute and / or University. MSc, or equivalent would be a plus)
- Technical knowledge of Automation & Control systems.
- Hands on experience, repair / overhaul of automation ships equipment would be a plus.
- Experience in the wider Shipping Industry is a must, preferably in Engineering / Service
- Performance Driven self-orientation
- Customer facing technical and/or business support experience
- Very good English language skills, both in speech and in writing
- Practical and analytical skills with documented ability to execute and deliver
- Good communication skills and understanding of international relationship and cultures
