ICAP Executive Search on behalf of its client a manufacturing company in the FMCG sector, a leading company dedicated to quality, sustainability, innovation and social responsibility, is seeking: Financial Analyst - Karditsa (Ref. 5488/FA/ESS/GR) Profile: In this role, the Executive will play a key part in financial planning, analysis and reporting, supporting strategic decision-making and driving business growth. The Financial Analyst will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and multi-cultural environment and make a meaningful impact. Responsibilities: Conduct financial analysis to support strategic initiatives, including forecasting budgeting, and variance analysis. Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior management, providing insights into business performance and key metrics. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop financial models and business cases for new product launches, pricing strategies and investment opportunities. Perform ad-hoc analysis and financial modeling to support decision-making on various projects and initiatives. Participate in interim and year-end preparation of financial reports and statements. Manage or participate in ad-hoc special projects related to all areas of costing department. Assist in the development and maintenance of financial systems, processes and controls to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting. Stay current on industry trends, economic factors and regulatory changes affecting the company's financial performance. Guide the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures. Provide assistance to external auditors in statutory audits. Support the Finance Manager with projects and tasks. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. Master’s degree is a plus. Chartered accountant Certification or Analyst Certification similar (ACCA, ACA, CFA, CPA, etc.) is desirable. 5+ years of experience in financial analysis or related roles, preferably in industrial environment. Proven experience as a cost analyst, cost specialist or similar role. Fluency in English (verbal and written). Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite, more specifically Excel (pivot tables, macros, etc.). Excellent in SoftOne & BI. Adaptability in new software platforms Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends and provide actionable insights. Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and the ability to meet tight deadlines. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions and present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
