About the Job Location: Athens (Attica Department store, Psychiko, Kifissia, Golden Hall) Department: Retail Operations Position: Sales Associate Reporting to: Store Manager/Shift Supervisor Main Responsibilities Welcomes customers to the store and answers their questions. Assesses customers’ needs and provides assistance and information on product features and nutritional values. Follows and achieves department’s sales goals. Maintains in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas. Keeps informed on products offered and discusses available options. Process POS (point of sale) purchases, operating cash registers, managing financial transactions, and balancing drawers. Cross sells products to increase purchase amounts. Complaint handling is a critical part of this position. Complies to inventory control procedures. Follows health and safety regulations in work environment. Adheres to all food safety regulations and quality controls. Is a shining example of well behavior and high performance. Skills and qualifications Excellent communication and interpersonal skills able to provide excellent customer service. A team player, considering of his / her colleagues. Able to maintain and enhance a culture of service in the store, handle grievances and create loyal customers. Energetic and enthusiastic about his / her job.
