IT System Engineer

- Install, configure, and manage Windows Servers, NAS, Printers, Wi-Fi, and Computers
- Provide technical support and guidance to vessel end users including troubleshooting and new software installations
- Perform system maintenance in all aspects
- Create system backups and maintain system security
- Undertake organized project-based scenarios in terms of software/ERP or other third party apps on a per vessel/fleet basis
- Keep positive relationships with customers and assess customer feedback
- Administer efficient work of the vessel NDS infrastructure, analyze failures and assist to service restoration
- Manage and monitor system plans and supervise all activities for plan and unplanned systems
- Install and configure various applications and products of our portfolio
- Four-year degree in CS, EE, Math, or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of experience on a similar role
- Expertise in Windows Domain Infrastructure
- Solid understanding of networking
- Experience with windows internals and troubleshooting complex issues
- Well organized and high attention to detail
- Security oriented mindset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Greek and English language
- Master’s degree or vendor certifications such as Microsoft and Networking oriented
- Basic Linux knowledge should be considered as a plus
- Database knowledge is a plus
- Experience working in IT Administration
- Acquaintance with open-source tools and open-source philosophy
- Strong background and experience in Maritime Applications
