Preparing and serving a variety of high-quality coffee, espresso drinks, and alcoholic beverages for hotel guests, ensuring consistency and quality in every order.
Greeting guests with a genuine smile and a willingness to assist, engaging with them to understand their preferences and offer personalized recommendations, ensuring excellent service at the bar or café.
Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the coffee and bar areas, including equipment, glassware, and supplies.
Handling cash transactions and processing payments using the hotel’s point-of-sale system.
Restocking and replenishing of bar inventory and supplies
Collaborating with hotel staff to ensure smooth service and timely delivery of beverages during busy periods.
Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards, maintaining a safe and clean environment for both guests and staff.
Assisting in the setup and breakdown of the bar and café areas before and after shifts.
Promoting the hotel’s beverage offerings, including seasonal specials or new products, to enhance the guest experience.
Responding promptly to guest requests and handling special orders or customized drinks, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Barista or Bartender in a 5-star Hotel

Drinks and/or coffee knowledge and relevant certifications needed
Degree in Hospitality / Tourism will be considered as an asset
Excellent knowledge of English language. Any additional language will be considered an asset
Experienced in MICROS and POS handling will be considered an asset

Passion for delivering exceptional levels of guest service
Pleasant personality, customer oriented
