The company’s enduring success is attributed to a passion for creativity, strong ethics, and the dedication of its people, who share a commitment to the company's vision of making a difference in people’s lives.Due to continuous growth and expansion, Pharmathen Pharmaceuticals offers a great opportunity for career development and is seeking to recruit an Instruments Officer to join our Quality Control team in our Pallini premises.As an Instruments Officer, the ideal candidate will be responsible for the laboratory equipment documentation, maintenance, calibration and troubleshooting.More particularly:RequirementsWhat you will do:

Draft deviation reports and suggests process optimization ways
Conduct literature searches related to analytical result deviations
Oversee the maintenance, calibration and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment

The ideal candidate should have:

Minimum a BSc Degree in Chemistry or relevant field
At least 2 years of experience within a pharmaceutical environment/Quality control
Experience in a GMP or GLP environment

Job-Specific Skills:

Excellent communication in English language (writing & speaking)
Competent in laboratory instrumentation (e.g., HPLC, GC, dissolution)
Strong problem solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Computer literacy
