At METLEN, we foster a culture of resilience, challenge, respect, excellence, and change, empowering our diverse workforce to achieve remarkable outcomes.We are currently looking for a Design Engineer to join our team, part of our M-Power Projects Division based in our Thessaloniki offices.By joining this role, you'll play a vital role in our company's project execution for Lighting Design of the Electrical and I&C Engineering department, from concept development to final delivery, supporting both internal teams and external stakeholders. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.Your role will encompass:

Prepare technical specifications, studies, and design documentation (drawings, schematics, cable lists, wiring diagrams)
Review and coordinate design deliverables and documentation from internal teams and external vendors
Manage technical interfaces across disciplines and support other departments (sales, erection, commissioning)
Ensure timely execution of electrical design tasks in line with project schedules
Design lighting systems and prepare related documentation (plans, schedules, specifications)
Ensure compliance with international and European standards; interpret civil and electrical drawings
Support auxiliary systems design (e.g., Telephone, Paging, Security, CCTV - considered a plus)
Contribute to EPC projects, including power plant applications (preferred)
Collaborate with senior designers and project managers to deliver high-quality engineering solutions

What you bring to the role:

University degree in Electrical Engineering
3+ years of experience in lighting design and electrical engineering
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Dialux, AutoCAD
Familiarity with Revit or AutoCAD MEP (considered an advantage)
Strong understanding of electrical installations, codes, load, voltage, and circuitry
Experience in reading and interpreting civil drawings
Fluency in English (written and spoken)
