Payments Disputes Specialist (Portuguese speaking)

- Manage legal claims sent by respective authorities.
- Communicate with the company's lawyers, external partners and customers to resolve filed claims.
- Manage dispute reports sent by payment service providers.
- Communicate with payment service providers and customers to resolve filed disputes.
- Cooperate with Customer Services to manage disputed reservations.
- Be constantly updated with scheme rules, regulations, local laws (depending on the market) and best practices.
- Perform the data entry of relevant information in the company's databases/tools.
- Insert records of disputes/claims in other systems (accounting).
- Handle providers’ reports and follow-up on financial losses related to disputed reservations.
- University degree in Law, preferably from a Brazilian University
- Fluency in Portuguese and English (verbal and written)
- Familiarity with MS office (especially Excel, Word)
- Strong presentation and communication skills
- Data-driven approach along with strong critical, analytical and investigation skills
- Ability to act proactively, take initiatives and demonstrate a can-do attitude focusing on producing high quality results within a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines and navigate through multiple systems and processes
- Discretion in dealing with confidential information
- High level of responsibility & integrity combined with eagerness to work in a multicultural, international environment subject to continuous changes
- Previous experience in practicing Law and/or handling disputes will be considered a plus.
