The Officer, Security, is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests and colleagues by patrolling and monitoring the premises, personnel, and company assets.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesSecurity Patrols:
- Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points, and permitting entry as necessary.
- Obtain help by sounding alarms when needed.
- Prevent losses and damages by reporting irregularities, informing violators of policy and procedures, and restraining trespassers.
- Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities, interviewing witnesses, and obtaining signatures.
Maintain a secure environment by monitoring and adjusting building and equipment controls as required.Equipment Maintenance:
- Ensure the operation of security equipment by completing preventive maintenance, following manufacturer's instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, and calling for repairs when necessary.
- Evaluate new equipment and techniques as needed.
Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related tasks as required.Additional Duties:
Perform any other duties as assigned by the security management team.Skills, Experience & Educational Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in relevant positions
- Professional qualification from a recognized institute
- Good knowledge of English
