The Country Manager is responsible for deploying the strategic priorities in Greece including business development; operational, people and financial management; general management of the locally registered entities as well for ensuring the implementation of the transformation plan with respect to the Group values.1. To deploy the strategic orientations of the BL Consulting and Operations within the country
- Turn the strategic orientations into action priorities for the perimeter
- Define the objectives to be achieved in the short and medium term
- Formulate the selected strategic orientations into operational proposals
- Propose the development strategy in alignment with the Region
- Ensure commercial development and proximity to clients in the country
- Identify business opportunities that may be of interest to the region/BL in accordance with the group selectivity approach
- Supervision of applications in response to the calls for applications in liaison with the Region and BL CCOs and support to tender teams in the production of tender proposals including management of all local administrative, technical and financial aspects.
- Ensuring commercial coordination within his/her perimeter
- Supervise the execution of contracts and guarantee high technical quality, timely delivery of services, client satisfaction.
- Oversee the financial performance, investments and other business initiatives; set up the right system and drive the operations in such a way that objectives on results, margin and profitability are met in cooperation with the region and BL Financial Direction
- Ensure regular and timely operational reporting in line with the BL directives and support the corporate initiatives developed by the Group or the BL in particular in respect of ESG, innovation and capitalisation
- Supervise the deployment of the group people management policies and tools to ensure the continuity of the business in cooperation with the regional Human Resources Direction
- Experience in operation activities related to engineering, design and infrastructure operation and maintenance, and knowledge of Consulting and Aviation Services.
- Experience in business development management
- Experience in P&L management
- Demonstrate strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate well at all levels and in all forums from one-to-ones to group and C-level presentation
- Excellent reporting skills
- Degree in engineering or in business management
- Fluent English is mandatory. Fluent in Greek is mandatory. French is a plus
- Competitive salary package depending on qualifications.
