Assistant Accountant

- Conducts daily entries of expenses, purchases documents, imports' and exports' files.
- Issue, print and send invoices to the customers.
- Supports the overall accounting and bookkeeping functions including accounts payable and receivable, inventory and capital assets
- Reconcile bank balances with the ERP system (payables and receivables).
- Organize, plan and undertake the payment's process and obligations.
- Monitor, record and conduct financial transactions (deposits and remittances).
- Participate in the financial analysis and reporting procedures to management as needed.
- Prepare updated forecasts and outlooks for revenue and costs.
- Implement and manage compliance with myDATA regulations.
- Perform other accounting/finance duties as assigned.
- Review and recommend changes to existing accounting ,and not only, procedures
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
- At least 4 years of relevant experience as an Accountant or Accountant's assistant in a well-organised accounts department.
- Technical and accounting skills, good knowledge of Greek Accounting Standards, myData, Greek Taxation and Greek Labour legislation.
- Advanced computer capabilities, proficient user of MS Office.
- Advanced IT & ERP skills.Pylon ERP knowledge will be an asset.
- Excellent knowledge of Greek and English Language both written and spoken.
- High level of discretion for confidential work and information.
- Interpersonal skills with a positive attitude, focused on teamwork and communication.
