You will be required to manage the entire customer journey including all front office tasks, and ensure all guests have an incredible experience. Always remember, you are hosting a bunch of guests at your house, and you need to be as hospitable as possible.You will need to treat this business as a start-up You’ll need to be nimble and flexible, and you’ll need to essentially provide a great product to our entire community including guests, customers, the local neighborhood, and other stakeholders.We will provide you with full autonomy while supporting you when and where required. We hope your creativity will be jolted and that you will be engaged and challenged.Your Key RelationshipsThe entire Cohort ecosystem and the community that interacts with it including but not limited to guests, customers, staff, outsourced partners, the community at large, and the Cohort Home Team.What You’ll be Doing as the Community ManagerGeneral· Propose new lines of business and procedures to increase guest engagement and the overall financial performance of the property.· Support in the development and update of the Policies and Procedures for the property, and propose updates to team members and customer flows.· Provide contextual analysis for various reports related to the property.Financial· Review the monthly P&L statement and provide feedback.· Handle guests billing and payment.· Communicate invoices to the Home Team as needed and coordinate for payment.· Coordinate with the Auditors and local accountants for official reporting and other financial requirements (where needed)· Manage sales and commissions with outsourced services and ensure proper reporting to Home Team· Responsible for managing cash expenses for the property.· Manage all physical and leased assets belonging to Cohort.Purchasing & Storekeeping· Lead the purchasing activities for the property in coordination with the Home Team Ensure the stores are well organized and clean at all times.· Ensure proper stock rotation and stock storage at optimum conditions.· Lead the end of month inventory in coordination with the Community Hosts· Identify suppliers for the property and coordinate new products identification for the property.Sales and Marketing· Provide feedback and coordinate with the revenue management team for optimization of room rates and availabilities.· Support in the implementation of marketing activities where needed.· Support in the execution and operation of events at the property· Support the home team in market research and data collection where needed.Personnel· Lead the recruitment process for team members in the property.· Coordinate with the local accounting firm on employee official reporting and weekly schedules.· Conduct on job training for new joiners in the Community team.Operations· Manage tasks and requests on Cohort app and platform.· Support guests in their journey from reservations to check out and feedback management.· Manage the entire reservation/booking process for customers on MEWS and Channel Management System (including following up on guest requests and changes on reservations on OTAs platforms)· Lead the concierge function and coordinate guest requests.· Ensures the integrity and accuracy of information in all systems used at the property.· Coordinate maintenance requests with the assigned company/personnel· Manage Kre8tive Café and serve customers as needed.Safety & security· Ensure that all Hotel areas are adequately secured at all times.· Report all incidents and accidents efficiently and on timely manner.· Lead evacuation efforts as needed.Housekeeping· Manage and coordinate the Co-keeper’s activities and schedule.· Coordinate laundry pick-ups and deliveries with outsourced laundry· Manage requests from guests in the absence of the Co-keepers.· Coordinate with the Co-keepers on rooms statuses and rooms inspection.Community Relations· Ensure highest level of guest satisfaction at all times.· Create a positive and attractive atmosphere for the ecosystem to create a great experience for all stakeholders.· Maintain existing partnerships which further promote The Cohort brand where applicable.· Strive to create an organic environment and experience for Cohortians.· Establish and maintain connections with the community.· Manages guest complaints and ensure they are addressed in a professional and timely manner.
