- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the wait staff during shifts
- Train new wait staff members on restaurant policies, procedures, and customer service standards
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing customer concerns
- Manage table assignments, reservations, and seating arrangements to optimize efficiency
- Ensure that food and beverages are served according to quality standards and presentation guidelines
- Collaborate with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other restaurant employees to ensure a seamless dining experience
- Encourage wait staff to upsell menu items, specials, and beverages
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any needs to management
- Handle cash transactions, process payments accurately, and reconcile cash drawers
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining areaRequirements:
- Previous experience as a waiter/waitress or server with demonstrated leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of food and beverage operations, menu items, and preparation methods
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
