Assistant Accountant

• Conducts daily entries of expenses, purchases documents, imports' and exports' files.
• Issue, print and send invoices to the customers.
• Supports the overall accounting and bookkeeping functions including accounts payable and receivable, inventory and capital assets
• Reconcile bank balances with the ERP system (payables and receivables).
• Organize, plan and undertake the payment's process and obligations.
• Monitor, record and conduct financial transactions (deposits and remittances).
• Participate in the financial analysis and reporting procedures to management as needed.
• Prepare updated forecasts and outlooks for revenue and costs.
• Implement and manage compliance with myDATA regulations.
• Perform other accounting/finance duties as assigned.
• Review and recommend changes to existing accounting ,and not only, procedures

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience as an Accountant or Accountant's assistant in a well-organised accounts department.
• Technical and accounting skills, good knowledge of Greek Accounting Standards, myData, Greek Taxation and Greek Labour legislation.
• Advanced computer capabilities, proficient user of MS Office.
• Advanced IT & ERP skills.Pylon ERP knowledge will be an asset.
• Excellent knowledge of Greek and English Language both written and spoken.
• High level of discretion for confidential work and information.
• Interpersonal skills with a positive attitude, focused on teamwork and communication.
• Outstanding attention to details with a result-oriented mindset, with ability to analyze and interpret data.
