HSE Engineer – Telecommunications & Construction Projects

• Conduct risk assessments, audits, and inspections to identify hazards and develop effective mitigation strategies.
• Implement, monitor, and continuously improve HSE management systems, ensuring compliance with legal, industry, and company standards.
• Lead and document incident investigations, providing root-cause analysis and preventive recommendations.
• Design, deliver, and evaluate HSE training programs to strengthen employee awareness and engagement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and project teams to embed HSE practices into planning and execution.
• Prepare, maintain, and present HSE documentation, reports, and key performance metrics.

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Safety Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of HSE experience, preferably within the telecommunications or construction sectors.
• Solid knowledge of HSE legislation, standards, and industry best practices.
• Proven ability to design and deliver effective training and presentations to diverse audiences.
• Relevant HSE certification in Greece or internationally recognized qualifications (e.g. NEBOSH, OSHA).
• Hands-on experience with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
• Familiarity with environmental impact assessments and sustainability initiatives.
• Valid Category B driver's license.
• Proficiency in HSE management software, digital tools, and incident reporting systems.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written), with fluency in Greek and English.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive and preventive approach to risk management.
