Senior Mechanical Engineer for Hydroelectric Project

• Supervises and coordinates procedures related to the Mechanical sector, regarding selection of equipment for water turbines, dams, etc.
• Prepares and reviews technical drawings, specifications and calculations for Mechanical equipment
• Collects specifications for mechanical materials and equipment in collaboration with Procurement Department
• Participates in the preparation and monitoring of Contracts, drafting of Bill of Quantities and Cost Estimate
• Participates in preparation and monitoring of related contracts and contractual obligations of third parties (providers, subcontractors etc.)
• Collaborates directly with the parties involved in the project (designers, suppliers, subcontractors, local bodies, etc.)
• Provides technical guidance and support to project teams and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle
• Prepares reports on weekly / monthly basis and keeps informed Project Manager about work progress

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• A Master's Degree in the respective field of knowledge will be considered as an additional qualification

• 10+ years of relevant experience in hydraulic engineering and fluid mechanics
• Very good knowledge of MS Project scheduling and AutoCAD design
• Excellent command of spoken and written English

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
