Job DescriptionAt, interworks.cloud, we are looking for a Security Engineer who will help us boost our cloud commerce platform security using both offensive and defensive approaches. The primary focus of this role is to secure our platform on infrastructure level (we are a Microsoft partner). Soon enough, the career path of this role will expand on application security as well, resulting on a holistic approach for our security needs. You will be responsible for identifying security gaps, designing solutions, with the ultimate goal to enhance our security posture, as well as educate other employees and raise security awareness.Your teamYou will join a small security team that loves researching and detecting vulnerabilities and has full ownership on interworks.cloud security needs. Security is a crucial part for our platform, and we are constantly seeking to enhance, improve and close as many security gaps as possible.Your role

Perform infrastructure penetration testing, identify vulnerabilities and propose & execute action plans.
Perform Active Directory and Azure Active Directory security assessments against all company’s AD domains.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to actively contribute to architectural, design, and deployment
Monitor networks and systems for security breaches or intrusions and lead security incident response & handling activities.
Develop technical solutions and security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks.
Report and thoroughly document findings and proposed recommendations.
Review and improve existing corporate security policies, processes, and procedures.
Participate in implementing compliance standards.
Help educate employees on information security and security best practices through training and awareness.

Our ideal candidate

Working experience (3+ years) in information security roles, focusing on infrastructure
Hands-on experience in security tools and technologies including firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, EDR, WAF, and vulnerability scanners.
Good knowledge of networking basics (TCP/IP, VLANs, Routing, DNS, VPN/ZTNA, Load Balancing, etc.).
Thorough understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols.
Good knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
Ability to assess and prioritize security risks and requirements.

Good knowledge of Incident Response processes and methodologies.

Excellent communication, presentation, and report-writing skills.
BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related technical field.

You are fluent in the Greek and English language both spoken and written.

Nice to have

Security certifications (OSCP, OSEP, CRTP, CRTE, CRTO).
Web application security testing skills (Burp Suite Pro is our bread and butter).
Active engagement with the hacker community.
