Senior Accountant

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes and contribute to the preparation of financial statements and reports for submission to Group Finance.
• Submit tax declarations (VAT, CIT, withholding taxes, etc.) as well as monthly and annual regulatory filings to the Tax Authorities, Bank of Greece, GEMI, and the Statistical Authority, ensuring full compliance with local legislation.
• Manage and support tax audits and statutory audits by providing the necessary documentation and insights to auditors.
• Oversee the documentation and classification of partnership contracts and loan obligations; verify the accuracy of accounting records and supporting documents against contractual terms.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and the company's internal accounting policies and procedures.
• Utilize and analyze financial models, such as Discounted Cash Flow (DCF), ensuring alignment with international accounting standards (IFRS).
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of transactions through the myDATA platform, as per Greek tax regulations.
• Maintain adherence to internal deadlines and accounting workflows.
• Supervise and mentor a team of accountants, ensuring alignment with performance goals and professional standards.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. Master's degree and/or Professional Certification (e.g., IFRS Diploma, ACCA) will be considered an asset.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a similar role, in a technical or construction company, with proven knowledge of IFRS, tax legislation, and compliance requirements.
• Strong experience in financial modeling, including DCF.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Proficient in MS Office with advanced knowledge of Excel.
• Hands-on experience with SAP or other major ERP systems is essential.
