We are seeking a talented and experienced professional to join our client's team as a Controlling and Risk Manager.In this role, you will be responsible for managing the controlling function within the company, as well as developing and implementing a comprehensive risk management strategy. You will be responsible for providing financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic decision-making. Additionally, you will work closely with different departments to ensure that financial risks are identified, assessed, and mitigated effectively.This Controlling & Risk Manager position, is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in finance and risk management to make a significant impact on the growth and success of our client's organization.Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading and developing a team of finance professionals.
  • Working closely with different departments to provide financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
  • Managing the controlling function within the company, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Preparing and presenting financial reports and analysis to senior management.
  • Continuously improving and optimizing financial processes and systems.
  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive risk management strategy, including identifying, assessing, and mitigating financial risks.
  • Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of risk management processes and procedures.
Requirements
  • BSc / MSc degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
  • Previous experience in controlling and risk management roles.
  • Strong knowledge of financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, IFRS
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in financial software and MS Office applications.
  • Ability to effectively lead and develop a team.
