- Draft, negotiate, and administer contracts, subcontracts, and change orders with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure compliance with project requirements and legal regulations.
- Review contract terms and conditions to identify risks, liabilities, and opportunities for mitigation or enhancement.
- Collaborate with project managers, legal counsel, and procurement teams to develop contract strategies and procurement plans aligned with project objectives and budget constraints.
- Evaluate bids and proposals from subcontractors and suppliers to assess competitiveness, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with project specifications.
- Monitor contract performance and progress to ensure adherence to timelines, milestones, and deliverables, and initiate corrective actions as necessary.
- Facilitate communications between project stakeholders to resolve disputes, address contractual issues, and manage variations or claims.
- Maintain accurate contract documentation, including records of correspondence, approvals, and amendments, to support audit trails and compliance requirements.
- Conduct regular contract reviews and audits to assess compliance with contractual obligations, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
- Provide guidance and support to project teams on contract-related matters, including interpretation of contract terms, dispute resolution, and risk management.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in contract management to enhance efficiency, mitigate risks, and optimize contract outcomes.
- A university degree in engineering, law, or another relative discipline
- Minimum 5 years of experience in contracts engineering in the construction industry and/or infrastructure public works
- Accreditation in FIDIC books or other certifications on contract management will be considered an asset.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Professional knowledge of the English language
- The candidate should be based in or be eligible to work in Greece and be fluent in the Greek language.
