The Accountant in this role will:

Perform accurate accounting entries, maintain ledgers, reconcile accounts, and identify discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with Greek Tax Legislation, including VAT returns and other tax filings.
Support quarter-end and year-end close processes.
Actively participate in the preparation of the audit process.
Maintain Inventory records and Monitor Customs area operations.
Issue customers’ invoices monthly and ensure proper documentation.
Perform ad hoc duties as assigned.

To be a good fit for this Accountant position you should better have:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
Proven 3+ years’ experience in a similar accounting role.
Advance knowledge of Greek GAAP, IFRS and relevant legislation.
An A-class accountant license is not a prerequisite but is considered a plus.
Good Knowledge of Customs Procedures.
Hands-on experience with ERP applications (preferably SoftOne ERP).
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Excellent command of both English and Greek languages.

Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
Ability to perform under pressure and deliver results.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Effective time management and accuracy in meeting deadlines.

Proven 3+ years’ experience in a similar accounting role.
