- Manage a team of technicians to ensure maintenance and projects are completed on time, within budget, with high quality and safety.
- Oversee the maintenance and operational integrity of all airport electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems, including but not limited to air conditioning, heating, ventilation, lighting, power distribution, fire detection, public announcement systems, airfield lighting systems, water supply, sewage systems, and the wastewater treatment plant (WWTP).
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and facilities to identify potential issues, ensure optimal performance, and maintain compliance with all applicable safety standards, regulations, and corporate health and safety policies.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment and system faults, recommending and implementing effective corrective actions.
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee the execution of preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure timely completion and minimize operational downtime.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, including work logs, inspection reports, and material usage.
- Collaborate with internal maintenance teams, engineering personnel, contractors, and vendors to develop and implement comprehensive maintenance schedules and programs. Manage and issue relevant work permits as required.
- Respond promptly to operational emergencies and incidents, taking appropriate action to safeguard the safety of personnel, passengers, and airport infrastructure.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are carried out in strict adherence to relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and internal standards.
- Monitor and analyse data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Stay up to date on industry trends and technologies related to airport engineering.
- MSc or Diploma (TEI) in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of five years of professional experience in a similar role.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems, including air conditioning, heating, ventilation, lighting, power distribution, fire detection, and suppression systems, public announcement systems, airfield lighting system, water supply systems, sewage systems, WWTP, etc.
- Previous experience with airfield lighting systems and pavements will be considered an asset.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to facilities and equipment.
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to airport facilities and equipment.
- Fluency in English (oral and written at a professional corporate level).
- Computer literacy.
- Fulfilled Military Obligations (if applicable).
