- Implement and maintain visual merchandising standards across multiple stores to drive sales and enhance customer engagement
- Conduct regular store visits to ensure compliance with visual merchandising standards, providing guidance and support to store staff as needed
- Assist in planning and executing store layouts, fixture placements, and product assortments to optimize selling space and maximize visual impact
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to continually enhance visual merchandising strategies
- Train and develop Town Visual Merchandisers.
- Produce Training plans with the Town Visual Merchandiser for staff progression.
- Prepare and conduct training sessions with instore teams and potential future talent.
- Regular communication with the Visual Merchandising Manager and the Area Sales Manager.
- Store Visit Reports conducted and submitted to the Visual Merchandising Manager and the Area Sales Manager on a weekly basis, ensuring that the Town Visual Merchandiser and management team are aware of what needs to be actioned.
- Communicating new ideas and ways to improve the ongoing developments of JD Sports Fashion plc to your Visual Merchandising Manager.
- To conduct your work in a highly professional manner, leading by example at all times.
- To conduct your work in a safe and responsible manner.
- Promote a high standard of hygiene, cleanliness and maintenance in line with company procedures
- Act as a liaison between the merchandising and marketing teams to coordinate product launches, promotions, and seasonal campaigns
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in visual merchandising, preferably in the retail industry
- Proficiency in creating appealing visual displays and a strong understanding of visual merchandising principles
- Excellent Leadership and Time Management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Knowledge of current industry trends and a passion for sportswear and street style
- Proficiency in using visual merchandising software and tools
- IT skills - Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Ppt is a must
- English language is a must
- Driving license is preferable but not essential.
- Willingness to travel within Greece and Cyprus for store visits and visual merchandising activities
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and self-motivated attitude
