The Motorway Operation Services Business Unit of Gek TERNA Group is looking for a Security Engineer.The role ensures the smooth operation of IT security systems and the implementation of policies and procedures for Cybersecurity.Responsibilities:

Monitors all IT security infrastructure and systems issues
Evaluates weaknesses, threats, and risks concerning the information systems infrastructure
Addresses potential security gaps
Manages the existing security infrastructure (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, antivirus, EDR, etc.) and collaborates with Security Operations Centers, reviewing their monthly reports
Performs security updates on operating systems, applications, and devices
Suggests improvements to the existing security framework
Collaborates with software development teams, infrastructure suppliers, and application/product providers on a technical level, verifying their compliance with the scope of responsibilities
Participates in the development of corporate Information Security and Cybersecurity projects and applications
Collaborates with the Group CISO and keeps them updated
Keeps abreast of advancements in Cybersecurity
Prepares the Annual Information Security Report

Required qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
Master's degree with a specialization in information systems security
At least 3 years of previous work experience in the field of information security / cybersecurity and managing-maintaining cybersecurity products
Certifications in information security products such as Cisco, Checkpoint, Fortinet
Professional certifications related to information security / cybersecurity (e.g. CCNP Security, ISO 27001 LA, CISSP, GIAC)
