The IBM QRadar SIEM Engineer is responsible for the configuration, deployment, and management of the SIEM deployment in a 24x7x365 environment.The engineer is responsible for monitoring, configuration changes, accounts, managing log sources, and software updates for the IBM QRadar SIEM solution.The engineer must be able to analyze, troubleshoot, and remediate issues with the IBM QRadar SIEM. The engineer will work closely with other teams to ensure that the IBM QRadar SIEM is performing to standard with all necessary logging sources.Key Responsibilities

New IBM QRadar SIEM deployments and installations
Ensures all necessary logging sources are reporting to the IBM QRadar SIEM
IBM QRadar SIEM User Account Management
Troubleshooting of OS & Network related problems
Troubleshooting of Log Collection problems
Troubleshooting of any IBM QRadar SIEM core functionality issue
Monitoring the status of the IBM QRadar SIEM to include metrics on items such as number of log Sources, log collection rate and server performance

RequirementsBasic Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience
Experience in performing infrastructure support
Ability to demonstrate strong knowledge of computer security concepts
Ability to document processes and procedures

Preferred Skills

Ability to communicate effectively with various clients and teams with the ability to explain and elaborate on technical details.
Sysadmin skills (Linux/Windows)
Basic network skills
