With more than 50 years of experience, we specialize in assessing and recruiting Senior to Middle Level Executives across all sectors.ICAP Executive Search & Selection, on behalf of its client, a prominent manufacturing company based near Thessaloniki with over 30 years of presence and a strong export orientation, renowned for its commitment to innovation, quality and sustainability, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional for the following positionProcurement Manager (Ref. 5958/PM/ESS/GR)The Executive reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and is responsible for developing and executing the company's procurement strategy, optimizing supplier relationships, ensuring cost-efficiency, and fostering seamless collaboration between internal departments and the production process. This role plays a critical part in enhancing operational performance, reducing costs, and supporting the company's strategic objectives.Main Responsibilities:

Develop and implement the overall procurement strategy aligned with business objectives.
Identify, evaluate, and engage with reliable and cost-effective suppliers.
Negotiate terms and manage supplier contracts to ensure optimal value and compliance.
Approve and oversee all purchasing activities, ensuring timely and efficient procurement of goods and services.
Monitor supplier performance and propose corrective actions where nee
ded.Lead the procurement budgeting process, including cost planning for consumables and spare parts.
Track and analyze performance against budget and implement corrective measures when necessary.
Coordinate closely with internal teams (production, finance, operations) to ensure alignment on needs and timelines.
Ensure procurement processes adhere to internal policies and legal requirements.
Participate in cross-functional meetings to support decision-making, planning, and project tracking.
Lead and develop the procurement team through training, coaching, and performance management.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field. Master's degree will be a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
Proven track record in managing end-to-end procurement processes and supplier negotiations.
Very good command of English, both written and spoken.
Strong proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems. Experience with Entersoft ERP will be considered an asset.
Advanced negotiation and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
Strategic thinking combined with strong analytical and decision-making capabilities.
Demonstrated experience in leading teams and collaborating effectively across departments.
