We are currently seeking an experienced Assistant Director of Housekeeping to join our dynamic Rooms Division team. In this key leadership role, you will support the Director of Housekeeping in ensuring the highest levels of cleanliness, comfort, and safety across the hotel, while fostering a culture of service excellence and attention to detail that defines the Four Seasons experience.What You Will DoSupervise and coordinate daily operations of the Housekeeping and Laundry teams, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and compliance with Four Seasons standards.Recruit, train, and schedule housekeeping personnel, including third-party staff, maintaining accurate records and payroll documentation.Oversee inventory management for guestroom supplies, cleaning materials, uniforms, and equipment, ensuring proper care and usage.Conduct regular inspections of guestrooms, public areas, laundry facilities, and storage spaces, maintaining top quality and safety standards.Develop and implement cleaning schedules, preventative maintenance programs, and quality control measures to preserve furniture, fixtures, and equipment.Work collaboratively with all hotel departments to meet operational needs and deliver seamless service to guests.Ensure guest requests are handled promptly, efficiently, and professionally, achieving maximum satisfaction.Lead monthly staff meetings, performance evaluations, and training sessions to maintain high morale and professional growth.Support emergency response and safety procedures, ensuring readiness and compliance.Act as the Director of Housekeeping’s delegate in their absence, overseeing departmental operations and decision-making.What You BringProven track record in luxury hospitality housekeeping management, ideally within a five-star environment.Significant experience (5+ years) in supervisory or managerial roles within Housekeeping and Laundry operations.Strong leadership, organizational, and people management skills, with experience in recruitment, training, and performance management.Solid knowledge of housekeeping systems, processes, and inventory management.Exceptional eye for detail and commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and service.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in Greek and English.Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and respond effectively in emergencies.A degree in Hospitality Management or related field is preferred.What We OfferCompetitive salary and benefits package.Employee meals, and laundry service.Ticket Restaurant monthly allowance of €100.Transportation to/from Elliniko.Employee recognition programs and development opportunities.Access to Four Seasons global training and travel programs.Join Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens and play a pivotal role in upholding our reputation for excellence in luxury hospitality.
